03:37 Nov 21 2015
Times Read: 374

I did something today that makes me the worse daughter ever, see I have a gambling problem and to be honest that is the first time I mentioned it to myself...but anyway...I stole hundred bucks from my mom and I know that is not a lot to a lot of people but we are poor so it is to us. My mom will not talk with me and I know I deserve it but it is killing me.

Gambling is psychic problem not physical problem so you can get rid of it. And you can do it! Try to control yourself hun because I know you are strong enough.

The first step to facing an addiction is admitting you have one. Taking the hundred dollars does not make you the worst daughter in the world - we all make mistakes and do things that we are not proud of. I would suggest that you give your mom time calm down, she is hurt because of what you did and it will take time for her to get over it. When you do get to talk with her again, own what you did and explain to her that you have a gambling problem - until then, seek professional help for your addiction.~Mina

Gambling is one of the worse addition that exist. It can bring you into homelessness and even jail. Do you know that you mother could send you to jail. Now, you admitted that you are an addicted. the second thing to do, is to stay away from the sources of gambling. Even in church there are gambling area, it called Bingo. So, no more hanging around those pesky humans that want you to crumble into nothing, and at the same time, make someone else a ritch person. Hun, hope you are doing good and happy day to you.

Smoke burned his lungs. It rose around him in bellowing waves, fed by the numerous fires in the surrounding forest. It had been a long, hard fought battle, but it was over, and he was done. Most of the main house was gone, but they'd managed to save the homes of the people who served them. Few lives were lost, but each one was mourned-but not by him. He stared at the flames with hollow eyes. He felt nothing. He looked on the faces of the dead, honorable men who had served his family well, saw their weeping widows and their crying children, and he felt nothing.

It didn't matter where, on which century, the scene was always the same, and over the long, dark years, he'd seen so many battlefields he'd lost count. So much death. So much brutality. So much killing. So much destruction. And he was always right in the midst of it, a whirling, dark predator, merciless, ruthless and implacable.

Yes, it is - kind of like when the Nurse comes in and wakes you up to give you something to make you sleep. O.O ~Mina
