That's a great, and sadly far too accurate, quote. The truth is harsh, lies are soft and palatable. Its no secret why people choose the latter over the former.

It's been endlessly fascinating how those whom I've handed truth to, hate me for not stooping and taking part in deceit, even if it was theirs. Lies complicate things. I enjoy arguing, not complications.
