i ran excitedly through the darkness of the night, my snow-like fur russling at the slightest movement. i could smell him. he was near... with each stride i took, my body filled with more and more adrenaline. i knew i was getting ever closer. my nose, telling me where to go... i could feel him calling me... my mate... my love... as i twisted round a corner, i came to a halt outside his door. my eyes shined in the moonlight, as i began to change...i reached for the door handle, adrenaline pumping through my body. i opened the door then ran up the stairs excitedly. 'finally, i could be with him again' i thought.' we could be a family, me and his cub...' but when i opened the door, i felt the tears slide down my face mercylessly. he scrambled off the bed next to her. "it was a mistake!" he kept saying over and over again... i slowly shook my head then ran out of the house crying... not looking back...i changed back to the lonely wolf i was before...
