J: The sky behind him felt like a flaming eye, scrutinizing his every move as he banked from left to right in the warm air. His eyes open like a hawk viewing the ground as those creatures that roamed it moved back and forth nearly ignorant of his presence. Death watched over all things, and unless you were close to him he was as invisible and as comforting as the chilled winds of the winter. He was soaring through paradise, nearly a twelve foot wing span on a six foot body from tip to tip as it took one beat of the powerful black raven feathered limbs to keep him gliding for miles. Nude as the day he found existence his body was smooth flesh of deep bronze, "Where are you..." He whispered, feeling a soul close to this spot.

Flickering in and out of existence he could not help but be attracted to it like a moth to the flame of a candle that decided it's own hours of operation. The Fourth Horseman rode with his steed at his back littering his path with feathers as he spread his wings slowly descending to the ground touching it with his toes before his wings wrapped around him in what looked like a black cloak of light absorbing waves. He had heard of this place, Nod, but never visited until now. Curiosity his greatest drive as his lack of repetition of what he knew heaven was, what it use to be to him. Here in this world things happened, it was spontaneous and lovely to him to watch life blood and fall into the grace of death.

Digging his toes into the ground he pushed off once more gliding under a tree to keep the scorching sun off his back for the moment as he looked up to it like the eye of God. Around his neck, a chain linked necklace threaded through what looked like a railroad spike. Only known as The Nail. The artifact that was driven into his chest giving him the weight to drop him from heaven itself to the mortal plane of existence. Kicking his feet he just smiled, it seemed like a nice place to wait for something to happen. "What a world..." he admitted to himself as he licked his lips. Feeling thirst slowly slip into his mouth as he turned his head to look for water in this land of Nod.

L: The woman with raven hair, seemed to enjoy watching this. Her eyes dancing in amusement as she watches the ethereal being land upon the grounds of her home. The land seemed to ripple about him. She knew better, for it was merely the presence of a being with power. From one of the Nine, she was taught to see what other mortals could not. In the beginning of time, she was merely mortal. So she was later trained to survive her exile and out of Eden. Her life had been a lonely one, but from time to time, she would receive visitors from other planes and realms. Her favorite and most welcomed was a Seraphim. Alas this being was not him. From within the crystal walls of the cave, she watched him land and wander about.

Her own world and self consisted of knowing arts that were forbidden. The Seraph she loved warned her of such deeds, but she never listened to him. Thus he was forced to stay away. “Father never wanted me anyway.” She told him before he left,. Knowing these words would cut through his heart as a knife did to butter. He did not look back as he flew away. Goldish off white wings carrying him back to the gates of Heaven. Back home.

Pushing this memory away, she continues watching the being. He seemed especially proud of himself and she wondered why this was. She knew what he was, for Michael had told her of such beings. Warned her as well to be wary of him. She shakes her head as she mentally chases old memories away once more. This mans wings, black as ebony seemed to be hunting for her. ‘Am I to go home now? If this be the case I would gladly welcome him with opened arms, but alas.. Do I want to go home?’

She quietly muses over these thoughts as she slides out from the caves crevices. Was barely an entrance, but it kept her safe. Had been her home since she had found it a few millennia ago. Pausing momentarily as she finally steps into view of the man, but he had his back turned to her. Again she questions her own actions and takes a step back to the entrance, but stops and curiously awaits the outcome..

J: Memories were beautiful things, if you did not have them you were nothing but masses of flesh without purpose, without a future, truly a fate worse than death. He allowed the wind to move over him as he remembered the day he was struck from heaven for forming thought against God himself. He was shunned, to the other angels he was just another Lucifer waiting to happen. He was no archon, not a creature reviered by the creatures of the land but feared. His mind echoed, those souls he wish to take going kicking and screaming into the dark at his sight. "I promise it is not all bad..." he would try and assure them, yet no one wanted Death, no one appreciated his duty the way he did. He respected life from a distance, and the dead he looked face to face with a smile.

A smile of simple teeth, softly crooked in areas that gave him a genuine smile of a young mortal man. From behind she could not see his smile, or admire his teeth, she was forced to gaze at his back which was formed tight with muscles that lead directly into the large wings he allowed to drape over the back of the brach catching what wind they could before fluttering to a stop. Crossing his ankles his hands pulled one of his wings in close to smooth it out as it leapt away forcing him to grasp the appendage bringing it back, "Do not fuss you..." He whispered as he took pride in his work. He was proud, but not arrogant, his aura was placid and she could feel it. Death was close and the air was cool even during the direct heat of the day.

His muscles flexed and relaxed in a sinewy motion before slipping his hands over the branch and rolling forward holding himself upside down as his vision caught hers. He tilted to the side and with a simple breath that brought the air to a swirl he spoke, "Hello..." He said before slowly letting go turning himself over to his feet as he touched down without so much as a thump. His wings drawing over him creating that flowing robe effect as it hid his hands. "I believe you have been calling me?" He asked as if she would have known him. Taking a second graceful leap forward he had a natural fleet glide that caused him to stop at the entrance of her cave.

Memories... Memories made you everything, and the way her body looked, the way her face was shaped made him blush some being so bold as he turned his back to her once again, "Oh... you're very much alive." He stated as he saw the blood in her body, he could feel her heartbeat in the air, her breath moving her chest. Yet she did not run... it confused him, usually they always would run even if he did not provoke that response. He turned his head looking over his shoulder as his wings softly shook spreading their feathers as the wind caught them forcing him to turn around facing her. He stared, his chest bare as his wings held low over his waist dragging along the ground softly.

L: Confusion took hold of her and she quietly cocks her head. ‘I wanted you here?’ Now this seemed to confuse her even more, but moments passed and she found this once more amusing. Then seeing him turn from her with crimson cheeks, she smiles even more boldly. Alas, she shifts her weight to one side as her right hand brushes her raven locks from her heart shaped face. Her eyes once blue, now held a silvery tone. Now that she knew his reason for coming, she responds.

Meaning for her words to be that of mystery, she bursts into laughter. “Meaning of no insult to thee dear sir. But what means you by mine own self calling you? I cannot remember a time when I had the will or the need to call upon anyone.” She cautiously takes a step towards him. Her curiosity getting the better of her as she stares at the wings behind him. ‘Michael… ‘

Time had gone when she could call upon the Nine for any type of help. But her own doings had forbidden them to even drop by for a simple greeting. Alas she was never to see any of the Nine again. Cursing herself into exile even further and she inturn cursing her own father, for such banishment. Her eyes cast towards the heavens as she remembers Michaels last farewell. Turning her gaze back to the man, she asks in a cooled down tone. ”And what doth father bids from thee?”

“Perhaps my head on a stake, so he can show evil doers who not to be like?” She had laughed just a moment ago, but this thought of her father angered her quickly. “You wish my death? That be the reason for such a visit? Methinks the Nine had better things to do than to send a Gentry of their order.” She crosses her arms as she walks a few steps away from him. “Thought I was cursed to wander this Nod for all Eternity.”

J: His face showed his reaction better than any word could. When she turned to look at him he leaned back looking at her from a leaning position like two snakes doing a dance of fangs as her new bold attitude caught him somewhat off guard. "I did not mean call like that..." He said before he was given the assault once more and her personality seemed to give him the shadow as his wings pulled up over his body to cover his chest. "A pike? That's certainly gruesome... I'm not a murderer." She seemed to think him a lackey of sorts, a reaper for hire, or had him thoroughly confused with someone else. He tilted his head completely dejected as his eyes opened to watching her anger grow into a bubbling fountain of misplaced malice.

"I would never wish Death, it is not my place to play with life, but to somply harvest and protect..." He gulped back his nerves as his foot seemed to shift in the dirt as he had the inclination to launch off. She could see him clear as day, and with that he knew she was not mortal. His hand at the nail on his chest as he softly rolled it between his index finger and thumb. "You have Death all around you though, almost as if you've crossed the line many times. I felt as if your soul was torn, wandering, but it seems I was mistaken. Yes, mistaken." He said as he put his hands away at his sides and pushed off as his wings opened up and caused him to ascend over her.

His footfalls upon the stone above her cavern opening were light as a birds as he was lithe and balanced, nubile in motion as he hopped off and headed back to his tress in a controlled glide towards the branch her came from as he perched back down on it looking at her. She was a very beautiful woman. The way her face was so smooth yet worn, she experienced life in a way he could not completely understand. He cleared his throat speaking from a distance, "When you say Father... do you mean our Father? I have not spoken to him in... a long time." He said as he went back to looking at the sun as his right wing came up like a shade above him. He was hunched like a Crow among the leaves waiting for his meal.

"An Eternity is a long time..." His voice carried on the air as he played with his toes one against the other as his demeanor was inviting. The Embrace of Death was never painful, it was complete and utter release. "I do not know of the Nine, but I do know of the Four... I was called the Fourth. The final call of the apocalypse. I was supposed to ride in on a horse, crushing those into dust beneath it's hooves yet... I find this more interesting. Don't you?" With his hand at his chest he traced a scar that ran over his breast, "You do not have to answer... I just have not spoken to someone who was not under my wing in a long time. A long long time."

He repeated softly to himself as it seemed like his greatest feature was his unabashed nudity. Virgin in complex he placed her feet on the brach and put his hands between his legs holding onto the thick branch as his wings opened up looking like a gargoyle above a church door. "Cursed... why did they curse you? Did the Nail strike you from heavens gates?"

L: She had not meant to laugh, but seeing his face change in hue brought on the sudden need of release. The thoughts and words streaming from his lips were few, but they were indeed hitting some nerves. Thus she let this slide, for it had been a long time since she talked to another besides her own reflection. She looks at the ground for a moment, then at the man perched in the tree. Sighing some, she unties the knot at the scarf that seemed to apron her skirt and laying it down, she then sits and looks up to the man. Her face, now smiling a bit.

“You know of father… aye. You are right. I loath him now and yet I love him. He ruined my life. As for the nine…” Glancing to the ground she shakes her head, changing her mind of her next response. Instead she says. “You are one of the horsemen. I remember the days when they were created.. But alas I cannot remember you. I was but a child to this world.. Yet I was this age in body.” She looks up to the man with a sad smile as she continues.

I apologize for my rude behavior from earlier. I had not meant to laugh. Was merely surprised in seeing anyone.. Anyone at all here. And I needed to laugh.” She quiets down and peers at his feet then smiles slightly. “Your feet needs to be washed.” Now it was her turn to blush, for she had not meant to insult him again. Such a silly thing to say to a being such as himself.

Embarrassed, she turns her face to the rocks at her side and closes her eyes.. “Again I apologize. I know not what to say to a guest. Thought thou…” She stops and rephrases her sentence. “You look tired. Might I interest you in a meal?.. before you leave.” ((Lets see what happens, stay tuned!!!))
