My world feels too noisy again.
Wish for the quiet softness and stillness of night.
I wonder if the grass would be greener if I was alone. If I should just leave the place where gratitude and appreciation falls so short. The place my giving and time is overlooked and no longer held as precious.
The place where my dreams and desires have gone to die.

My rein of being your sire has long been over and past the standard year and day. Just as in the human world though once a mother always a mother. You do not stop being a mother just because they become adults. Yes the cord needs cut. They need to find their life and their own way of being in the world. It’s understandable that a fledgling would want to still come back to the nest for comfort and reassurance. You know what you are. You know how to get by in this world now. You are stronger than what you give yourself credit for. Some day you may even be a better sire than I. Perhaps lead your own coven the way it was meant to be. Not through greed and control but with the virtues of a true leader.
Just because we can do all the things we can does that mean we should? You can still choose an honorable way without abusing the gifts you have. You are my legacy. I know that seems a heavy burden but I believe you can see it through. Believe that you will choose the way that is right.
