I can relate. That's why I've re-examined that part of life and have determined that there is no love at first. What 98% of people perceive as love, is really just lust. Lust leads to attraction, which leads to friendship, then to companionship, and it is after some time in companionship that true love is nurtured and able to grow.
Seeing life this way, I have found much much less heartache, and for me, life is much improved. :)
