So I did a thing. A thing I have been putting off out of well I’m not even sure. I wouldn’t necessarily say fear or laziness just I’m super impatient.
I started a sourdough starter today.
I guess we shall see how this goes. I heard it really stinks to start at first as it’s fermenting.
So as long as there is no mold forming on the starter to keep going until it rises and passes a float test. It could take a week or more to ferment. I have been fermenting kombucha for a whole year now. How hard could this be? Right?
I made pumpkin bread today. Starting to think baking is becoming a new love language for me. I bought a kitchen aid mixer last weekend. Monday I baked bread and potato rolls. Then I was given a big box grapes and couldn’t see them going to waste to so I made grape jelly that wasn’t in the plans. I should have used the crock pot to simmer them.
