That's awesome news.
8 years ago I had a similar scare but it also involved a growth on my right forearm. Even in the incompetence the hospital I was in displayed they pointed me in the direction of a orthopedic oncologist who had ordered a needle biopsy. Finding out it was a staph infection was a relief, though it was still serious.
I hope when you return in August everything turns out to be alright for you.
