Hello everyone. I know I have not been around much and I truly miss my friends from here. Most of you I speak to outside of VR, so we've been able to stay in touch.

Things have changed here. I am officially a student again. I had been toying around with the idea of going back to school since my last graduation, but I did not know what I wanted to do. Then my dream program fell in my lap. I applied for, was accepted to, and began an LLM in Risk Management at Texas A&M. It is all online, so no moving to go to school. I am in love with this program. It is extremely interesting to me. It is only 24 credit hours, so I think I will be able to graduate next December; December 2025. I am well into my first course, Legal Risk Management. What is an LLM you are probably asking? In Latin, LLM is Latin Legum Magister i.e., a Master of Laws. Law is a strange bird, indeed. You first obtain your doctorate degree, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.), and then can specialize further, if you desire, with an LLM or another master's program. Since I graduated from Cumberland in 1999, I have kind of always wanted to get an LLM; it just never really made sense for me. This Fall, I will be taking 2 courses, Counterterrorism and Cyber Security Law and Policy. Both courses sound amazing.

Personally I miss you so much. I'm glad I can get my dose of Theo occasionally by phone. I'm also so proud of you thriving reaching for your goals. You are truly remarkable.
