when I mentioned I had fell

and if I hadn't been so dizzy

I would have laughed hard as hell

But when I stood and the room

around me spun and spun and spun

I placed a hand to my head

and knew it had begun

Oh Vertigo

please let me go

back to solid ground

I tire of this game

Night is both my friend and my enemy.

She wraps her dark fingers around me and pulls me to her

I follow, I give in, I succumb

What sweet music is found in the blackness

sounds of nocturnal nature

and the heavy breaths of lovers.

Will you dance with me in silence

beneath the cold stare of the moon?

Hold me close, don't say a word.

I long to leave the scarlett stripes across your back you so desire

In this gauzy veil of shadows you entangle me, enchant me, casting me into the world of night wishes

and gothic romance.

Your alabaster skin longs for my mouth

and I can never say no to your body.

Let me trail down slowly from your neck

pausing for a painfully long moment at your navel

before bringing you bliss.

Oh dear Night, you make my dreams come true

I wish it would never end,

but then, when morning comes

I've slept in too long -.-

That swirling vapor gets inside my head

of loneliness and sorrow and impending dread

it's noxious smoke encircles me

pushing, pulling, planting uncertainty

it cannot be shaken or easily dismissed

I know it's not real, but yet it insists

I know it's name and speak to it kind

to leave me alone inside of my mind

I have enough to not deal with you

whose thoughts and ideas never come true

I know this game and have played before

but this time I remember the score

in the distant past I may have conceded

you twisted the rules and always cheated

but I know your ways and have learned right

this time I call checkmate,

and like that you're gone,

A solitary butterfly finds it's way into my stomach

when first I see you

I want to hug you, hold you close to me

Such relief and comfort wash over me when first I touch you

Like the feeling of coming home

I breathe you in and I want to melt in your arms

When the day comes to an end

and the sun has long ago set

I wish to lay with you in bed

and you hear my thoughts.

I let my fingers trace over your skin

where my lips wish to kiss

softness that begs to be touched.....

The curls in your hair wrap around my fingers

like a lover that doesn't want to let go.

I silently worship you in the dark

as you lay next to me.

You turn to me and run your fingers in my hair and touch my face softly,

every movement sends chills down my spine

and the way you look at me

makes me die inside.....

and it all starts with a tender loving kiss

when your lips are pressed to mine

I feel my body temperature raise

and my heart beats hard against my chest

but I am lost in this embrace

as you pull me close to you

to feel your skin against mine.

I never knew such pleasure

until I was entangled with you

and the world outside disappeared.

You give to me fire from within

that is almost unquenchable.

Each time it is as if I fall in love with you all over again.

I have never felt so loved, so completely and eternally loved.

What have I done to receive such love, such devotion and affection?

I would do it a hundred more times.

You are the world to me, the rising of the sun and setting of the moon, each tiny star that shines like a pinhole in the night sky.

I can no longer express my heart in words,

all I can do is show you

that my favorite song to put me to sleep is the

one your heart plays for me while I rest my head on you, a smile of pure bliss on my face.
