Vampire on ice

She removed the sign

from the lake,

Skating effortlessly

where the ice grew

thin.

As one came to be by

her there was that

inevitable break,

As she pulled them

out, into there

neck she drove

her fangs deep

within.

There walls are high and vast,

This just makes me more determined.

This isn't to keep us out it's to see

if they have what it takes to make a

friendship last,

They push me away though I'm

immovable, I have what it takes

to see this through to the end.

I know they have been through

there share of pain and they have

my empathy,

So I keep climbing this seemingly

never ending wall.

To show them that now they have

my friendship eternally,

And my arms are always open to be

there shoulder and to catch them

whenever they fall.
