Glistening wet fiery eyes
blanketed by hidden lies.
Sitting sad alone and broken
from when he took my heart a token.
Drowning sorrow wasting me away
all because he refused to stay,
leaving me in a darkened corner
passing strangers glancing mourner.
Warmness spreading
like a golden threading,
as an unknown man appears,
relinquishing the lonely tears.
Savior with a silver shine
gentle voice and a touch devine,
wishing begging he'll be mine.
Darkness falls upon the child, sad, alone and wandering. Secrets kept and secrets told, but never shall she know, the void between herself and you, a gaping blackened soul.
