What kind of fish does Greenpeace think we should eat? Here is their big list that shouldn't be sold to us consumers as far as they can force it:
"12 kinds of fish associated with environmental concerns, including orange roughy, Chilean sea bass, shark, Atlantic halibut, Atlantic cod, Greenland halibut, grouper, monkfish, red fish, skates and rays, swordfish, and bluefin tuna"
I suppose those genetically engineered salmon would be ok with them. Sharks? Rays? Please- I'm a Floridian, I see a plenty.

I can give you several reasons that Green peace has jumped on this bandwagon.
Plain and simple? Contaminants.in the meats. There are plenty of articles about it if you care to read them.

Hi Oceanne,
There is much in the article stating that if a person eats shark as their fish portion, it still is below harmful amounts. There are other statements too, as in when in Thailand the WildAid people were brought to trial- that they had stated " it may contain Mercury"- not that it did. Anyway, that is for an indivcidual to decide. I don't believe everything I read- especially if an organization or the government has anything to do with it.
