The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Hello, this is my first journal entry and as I am not quite sure what to write about, I will do my best to keep it interesting.

I see Awakening stories posted a lot either in the few journals I've perused here or on other sites catering to or accommodating vampires (vampyres?). But as I am not a vampire (about 97% sure) I don't really have anything like that; I am looking to learn more and become a donor of blood, energy, etc.,

I have never donated before, but hopefully as I learn more and continue with mentorship I will get to that point when ready. I am still unsure if it's acceptable to join this site if I am only interested in being a donor, but no one seems to have had a problem with it yet. :)

I have been very interested in vampires from an early age, probably about 5 years old. I have an identical twin sister who shared the same interests, and we had much fun reading books, writing our own stories and playing make believe games until we grew apart as we got older. Even though we probably wouldn't love to admit it, we are two halves of a whole in a way. Although my sister loves blood, she sometimes cuts herself just to play with it, so maybe we will run into each other on here just as we did on FetLife. Although I tend to find my way into these things years before her.



I've spent a lot of time on smaller, less detailed forums and sites; it's actually very hard for potential donors to find vampires (believe me) especially if we have to venture into the dark recesses of the 6th Google search results page! I actually stumbled across this site on accident after nearly giving up.

I have no interest in trying blood, having an awakening, etc., because I know I'm not a vampire. Usually (from what I've seen/read) one usually becomes aware of their vampirism at an early age, has no serious problem with blood, and wouldn't cringe at the idea of ingesting it personally. I just want to give, it's something I'm good at and something I enjoy- even in other aspects of life, BDSM being a good example since these two realms are undoubtedly intertwined.
