The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

So, last night was still a bit wild with Dungeons and Dragons. Still having two younger kids playing with us is a bit...different still. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but nope, I'm not. I guess from playing in previous campaigns, I'm not used to having kids join us. These two kids are nuts though. Both are just goofy. I think they are about 12yrs old or so. One likes to be a genocidal killer and the other? Just like to hide his character all the time. My husband is the current dungeon master of this game and I'm gonna be honest, It was a bit boring to me. The other one I play in, I do have a lot of fun, but it takes a bit longer to get around the table due to the insane amount of people. The one from last night had about 8 players or so...the other one? About 12 or so...So yeah, major difference between the two.

I did get to play my Sorceress character, Kurai. She's a half-elf, moon variant and has Wild Magic. So you can only imagine on how much fun and annoyance that can be at the same time.

So...Now onto the Magic the gathering...

I was going to play my Etrata, The Silencer deck last night, but my husband made a good point. The mana cost for her is insane. So, I played my merfolk deck and I have Hakbal as my commander. I played against a friend last night, only to run out of time due to D&D. The second time I played? I played against my husband and someone else. I was extremely shocked though. I had a lot of +1/+1 and +2/+2 counters along with flying on my field. I ended up coming close to defeating my husband last night in the game. I dealt 35 damage to him and got his life all the way down to 1. He ended up beating me and the other person in the end. I was so close though!!!!!!

So last night, the husband I went and sold some of his pokemon cards to a local card shop. He got a total 170.00 out of it. I kid you not, that man spoiled the mess out of me tbh. He got me two packs of Brother's War, where I pulled a nice handful of rares and then pulled the mythic Bladecoil Serpent. I got a new commander deck that is merfolk. Yes, I love mermaids. Lol. I also got a new deck box and some sleeves for my cards as well. Last night was definitely a good night for sure. I excited to play the deck and my current deck, which the commander is a nasty little one as well. Teehee.

So...

I came to the conclusion, that I will be splitting my journals with my book review. DarkRomantasy will have the dark romance, dark fantasy ect reviews while my sire account, Nekobookworm will have Romance, Fantasy and some other reviews as well.

I think this might be a bit easier to keep up with in the end. Yes, a lot of switching between accounts, but it will be worth it in the end.

Oml...

So I'm sitting here watching someone open packs and and a box and this one guy who purchased packs and a box has been pulling mythics and list cards. That's hella crazy!!!
