First Day back from winter break

I haven't mentioned much about work, due to the fact we were on winter break. As expected, we had a lot of prep to do for opening tonight. Though, I really wish that the kitchen manager would help us. She complained that the flank steak was being cut to "thick" and yet, she hasn't helped us at all. She could've helped us with the prep and cutting the flank steak as well. I know I was slow at it today. I was tired and still am to be honest as well. Like I said, I get it, she has paperwork to do and things to do, but being a manager does consist of you helping your team out when they need it. We had extra people today, but still... It would've been nice for her to help and not hover like she does all the time. Seems like nothing has changed to be honest and we're hoping that the big boss comes soon as well. At this rate...I'm just sore as hell from the day... ugh...I was in hopes things were going to change...especially with the manager....I guess not....
Not to mention...My anxiety flared really freaking bad at work as well today. Its was just...so overly stressful today. The amount of prep and the manager not helping....
