My mom has a gofundme up right now, $1,800 for some knee procedure she needs. My two oldest nephews, 15 and 16, made her break down in tears by donating their money towards it. They're such good boys. For Halloween the 16 year old asked me to come over to hang out with him. And I was giving him a hard time because what 16 year old wants to hang out with his old auntie xD He said I'm cooler than anyone in his school, and all his friends were up to "tomfoolerly." That's probably true, but still🤔
I put in $1,000 anonymously. Because... my parents would never take the money from me, especially with everything I've got going on right now. And then there'd be all the questions of where I even got it. I like my family not knowing how much, if any, money I ever have. I'm never broke, but... My brother is the main issue. If you have money at all, he's hitting you up to "borrow" some. But many hard-learned lessons later, it ain't a borrow, you'll never get that back. And I don't mind if he needs money for the kids. But when he blows it on weed, cigarettes, energy drinks, and tattoos... Nah. I'm not funding that. So all-in-all it's better to help my mother out anonymously. She brought me into this world, she gave me a kidney... And she's been a pretty stellar mom. I kinda owe her. And ya know... with my health rapidly declining, what do I need money for anyway? Especially if I can use it for good. As long as I can pay for my meds, and my diet Dr. Pepper addiction. I always think I'm not gonna make it another year. And then December comes, and it's like... well, I definitely won't make it ANOTHER xD
