The Changing

The snow so white and pure,
falls from the sky,
landing so softly on the ground.
Something so pure,
is tainted so easily,
as tears run down my face,
the blade is tight in my hand.
Slashing at something
and blood splattering everywhere.
Staining the untainted white.
As body parts of innocent hit the ground,
the snow falls and no one cares.
I raise my blade and continue,
just slashing and chopping,
as blood flying through the air.
My mind screams stop
and my body can't.
The snow falls harder,
as blood is everywhere,
body parts are slowly being buried.
The blade is raised one last time,
and I look down and see the faces.
I drop to my knees
as the blade sinks through my heart.

...
...
I wake up in a cold sweat.
sheets stained in blood.
It was just a dream,
it felt so real...
no it was real.
It might as well have been.
I look into a mirror.
Who was the person I see?
Who am I?
I throw the mirror in the wall,
the voices are getting stronger.
Over-throwing the balance.
In the pain, I scream out a name,
with reckless rage and power
flowing through my body,
I know what happened,
but I am no longer in control,
after the death of the innocents
that i have caused.
All I can do is watch in horror,
as the nightmare in me is unleashed.
As my eyes change and the emotions stop,
I have truly become a monster,
and can never turn back

On broken wings and dying hearts
and our love departs.
Above this thick fog of of doubt,
come a calming view without...
There are no streets
and only cold to greet
this lonely soul with a heart that doesn't beat
leaving this body without heat.
This body that has decomposed
with no hope that shows.
So just leave this body that is gone,
and just walk away at dawn.
As the seasons change
your thoughts turn strange.
As the dead leaves fall
you return to the body that is immortal.
Your heart is beating too much
as you find that the body is cold to the touch.
As a tear falls from your face,
as you get a cold embrace.
Your heart stops beating
and your life is fleeting.
The cold rain starts,
your heart starts to departs.

Fresh smoke is in the air,
and new blood has stained the ground,
the heart is beating in despair
with no hope being found.
A new line shows
and the eyes look away,
hope starts to decompose,
knowing there no way for it to stay for today.
A chain that was broken
again it has started,
with words that go unspoken,
on hearts that were uncharted.
