Took a vacation day today so I could photograph an event this morning, and then have some time to get other things done.

I call it a double-dip. Paid vacation day, and then make as much in 2 hours of work as the entire paid vacation day.

While I sit here and load the images to my editing drive, I get to relax with a coffee and a nice steak and egg breakfast sammich.

Breakfast sammiches are some of my favorite things.

It's a good day.

Tonight I'll help out the K9 rescue with another fund raising event downtown.

I might have to be social without drinking again. Egads!

Got our latest movie up on IMDB. It's official.

20 youth actors now have their names side by side with Hollywood stars.

Going to be a slow-moving project that I'm working on.

That's ok though. It's a 2-year plan.

And a lot of it hinges on getting the town to let me do all the things I want to do....

I called in to work yesterday and took a day to spend some time on mental health.

Time in the sunshine. Time away from screens. Time not being hounded by other people about what they need.

Best day spent in quite a while.
