As I suspected would happen, that commercial spot got pulled because it's often difficult to allocate budgets for such things when the economy is crap, and people are losing their jobs everywhere.

But let us not stop voting for the people who constantly tank the economy, mmk? Thanks.

Have to say, car shopping in this area right now is annoying as f***.

If I go out of state, I have options galore. If I want to find somewhere local, the options are over priced, and limited.

Still waiting to hear back on casting for that commercial. Casting agent said no decision has been made yet.

Given the time-lines discussed, I have a suspicion this is going to be one of those opportunities that just evaporates.

I have a full time job, but I need full time hours during the day to deal with the constant inefficiencies of all of the institutions that control our lives.

Been doing battle with a bank for over 2 years regarding hundreds of dollars in fees I was forced to pay because of their mistake. I have submitted proof. I have the documents. They simply won't own up to it, and they push it aside as if it doesn't matter.

Today was my last attempt to get them to rectify this without having to involve an attorney. They think I won't do that over this amount, but I absolutely will, and tack on my own fees for how much time and energy this has consumed.

I once got wrongly terminated from a job...I was told I got a suspension, then they sent the termination notice by mail, so that I wouldnt get it in time to appeal. Luckily I had a friend there who heard and called me. I called the union steward and told her what was going on.. So basically it came down to I could come back WITHOUT my back pay, or I could take it further and stay off work and have them drag things out. So basically it was WHO has the money to last it out..smh

Looking for pet friendly accommodations for our road-trip/vacation this year.

What people are asking for is just.... they're out of their fucking minds.

Typical AirBNB these days:

"Have a secluded, rustic get-away in our converted duck blind. Enjoy the luxurious accommodations including a single military surplus cot, a propane powered lantern, and a used firepit where you can cook gourmet meals from what you forage in the nearby woods. Bathroom includes a lake to bathe in, and piss in. And shit in. While enjoying a scenic view of the nearby KOA campground. Small pets, or hunting dogs are welcome. $250/night, $100 per guest cleaning fee."

Definitely not far off. lol However, you forgot the pet fee for those welcome small pets or hunting dogs... another $50.00 per night and $150.00 per pet cleaning fee.

OMG, absolutely the case.

Finally found a place right downtown where we're going that is dog friendly, and relatively reasonable compared to the other options. It's just ridiculous though.

Not sure the cost or anything but my brother his girlfriend his daughter, their dog and our mom went to one in Utah..crazy cabin look but huge had a game room down stairs with pinball machines and stuff..lol

Sounds like fun! We're just taking a 5-day roadie to the other side of NYS to hang with friends, and go to a few concerts/music fests. They have a toddler so we don't want to impose on their space.

Interview last night was interesting. Far less structured than he initially led me to believe.

I have empathy for him too. Obviously going through a lot of personal stuff in his life. Right around the same age I did. I get it. I have the been there, done that badge on my sash.

Put in a lot of time on the garden this weekend.

I'm whooped.

Have to clean up now and go be interviewed on a local podcast.

I have so much to actually juggle tonight...

Made it to Friday, and the start of a new month. Going to have to put in some serious time this weekend building out the garden area.

Hoping I can find people who want to join me in that endeavor.
