Spooking People

I reminiced today, back to when I spooked people as a hobby.

I was very intersted in Art if Illusion, but I never had the attention span needed to practice sleight of hand, or the money to purchase props.

My staple magazines were Fangoria, and a FX magazine, my friend Abe, and I fancied ourselves Director Actors ( boy if we had had cam corders').

It was in one of these mags, that I saw in the classifieds, ' Spook The Unsuspecting' ' Haunted House Designs', I sent away it as soon as I could get the 5 dollars plus shipping and handling, and the money order fee ( I had learned to never send cash).

How I wish I still had that book, thankfully I absorbed it, and committe it to memory.

From creating basic rapping sounds, and items falling from wall mounts, to full blown apparitions, and drafty touches.

"Geist FX" a book not to be forgotten.

Sadly my search online has produced no results.

Have you looked on EBAY. Although I am not a fan of that site..I have found many books there that are other wise out of print.

There is always the links of the book stores, or the libraries.

I would personally choose the library since it is likely gov't funded and thus the wide connections are bound to find what it is you seek.
