A Girl

There once lived a girl, her hair was dark as the midnight sky. Her beauty was fair and her eyes revealed only the emptiness and loneliness that dwelled deep in her heart. All saw her to be kind and sweet, but those who thought they knew her saw her wickedness and cruelty. So she walked, hiding herself the best she could down the cold road of life knowing how well she was hated.
When she was alone with no one at her side she wept. Knowing that she was harsh to her loved ones, always pushing them away. Never wanting to get harmed or abused. Everyday, she hid in her bed chambers away from everyone who could hurt her. Dark hair showering over her pretty face, hiding the tears.
No one knew what was swimming through her mind. Thoughts of love, peace, and understanding surrounding her. No matter how much or how many attempts she tried, she could never stay like that. Not knowing what to do, she pushed and pushed at those close further away. Soon she was alone with only her reflection for company. One day she threw that reflection against the wall and crept over towards the remains. Slowly she peered down at her broken face, her broken self. Again she wept.
Quietly she picked up the pieces off the floor and placed them somewhere where they were hidden and never seen again. While she hid these old pieces of herself, one piece had cut her hand. Blood dripped down and onto the ground, caught by another piece. As she looked down, she saw herself once again, but this was different. Now there appeared blood on her face. That’s when she noticed she was wiping away her tears with blood.
Still she lay in the darkness of her bed chambers and thought of everything and everyone. Eventually she slipped into a deep slumber. For so long she slept. When she awoke, all had changed. She dashed out of her palace and to your once loved ones. They too, changed it seemed. More wise and knowing. Not all of them looked up at her, but now they looked down upon her. She turned to run away, but knew that would mean nothing. So she faced them again, but grew. Not an inch taller or shorter, but grew as an equal. She no longer wept.
There once lived a girl, her hair as dark as the midnight sky. Her beauty was fair and her eyes revealed only pain of her past and beauty within herself growing deep in her heart.
The End.

Once upon a time, there was a little Angel who lived in Heaven. One day she decided to visit Earth and play with the human children. While she was there, Angel noticed another immortal on Earth. After sharing her kindness with the human children, she went to watch the immortal who was a boy. He was playing tricks on all the humans he came across. After seeing enough, Angel went to the boy to speak with him.
“Why do you play evil tricks on the humans?” She asked politely.
The boy turned to her in annoyance and replied, “Because I can.”
“But shouldn’t you play nicely and spread love?” Angel inquired.
The boy laughed wickedly, “I am a Demon you foolish Angel.”
Not knowing what to do, Angel simply smiled at the boy. This made him feel very uneasily, so he pulled her hair and ran away. Angel forgave him and followed Demon. After she found him, she waited until he was at rest. All day he was cruel to the mindless humans. Only at dawn did he stop, it was then Angel went to him again.
Demon saw her and sighed, “What do you want now, Angel?”
“I want to be your friend.” She said happily.
This confused Demon, “Why? I am cold while you are warm.”
“I do not mind, there’s something about you I like.” Angel stated.
Not knowing what to do, Demon allowed Angel to be his friend. Everywhere he went, she went. Angel was silent and said not a word very often. Slowly, Angel ceased her playing with humans and merely observed. Demon grew more aware of her day by day. Like any friendship, Angel and Demon discovered more about each other.
“I think I like you.” Angel thought out loud one evening.
Demon was surprised, “What? What do you mean? How can you like me?”
“I mean I like you Demon.” Angel replied.
Thoughts swam through his mind, “You are a foolish Angel.”
Days went by, months, then years flew by. Angel waited and waited for Demon to return her feelings, but it never came. It seemed hopeless, but she never gave up. More and more did they know about each other . Secrets were fading away as they trusted each other more and more. Tired of waiting, Angel decided that maybe she needed to remind Demon of her feelings.
“I love you, Demon.” Angel told him.
Startled by this random statement Demon said, “Tell me why Angel.”
“I don’t know, I just do. I like how you make me feel.”
Demon wanted more, “Not good enough.”
Days went by, and then months went by and still Demon wasn’t satisfied with Angel’s answers. Soon enough Demon realized Angel was exhausted of thinking about her love for him. Demon looked at Angel and at that moment, he too was in love. But they could never be, he was a Demon from Hell and she was an Angel from heaven.
Demon was alone with Angel, “Alright I love you too.”
“I knew you did!” Angel exclaimed.
He backed away a bit, “We can never be, I am from Hell, you from Heaven.”
“Then let us live here on Earth as humans.” Angel suggested.
Demon walked with Angel, “Very well. Humans we shall be together.”
“I’m so overjoyed Demon!” Angel hugged Demon.
Demon recalled all their time together and knew how much they each had grown.
“What are you thinking about?” Angel asked him sweetly, grinning.
Demon looked into her eyes and replied, “I love you Angel.”
“I love you to Demon,” Angel whispered.
Demon chuckled, “And that is what makes you so foolish. But I love you anyway.”
Angel and Demon were humans on Earth and spent their lives with each other, sharing their love.
