Forever

Quivering, I stood waiting for him to arrive

Eyes closed, skin bare,

Straining to hear his feather light footsteps in the hall

I close my eyes to remember back

Back to the first time he ever kissed my lips

Oh, that long ago day

When I decided to surrender my will to his

I still can recall

His cold breath that touched my face

His icy hands that were as delicate

As the finest lace

His dark eyes that shone the wildness

Of his restless soul

My bare shoulders

That he kissed so delicately

I remember opening my eyes

Slowly

Watching his every move

I can still feel my beating heart

As it raced, longing for him

And his immortal touch

Will he return tonight?

Finish what was started?

Take me into his life

Letting me fill his lonely nights

Now I open my eyes because I feel him here

Yes, my dark immortal lover has finally returned

His eyes shine like that first night

I smile as I silently plea

Sense my trust in you

Inhale my scent

Come my love

Taste my blood

Take my mortal life

I wish only to be with you

Living forever in the night

Just as I had given, he has accepted

My pulse quickens now, this last time,

No words are needed here

Knowing I will remain silent

Save for maybe a small gasp of ecstasy

Pleasure wells inside my heart

I feel his hand, his breath,

As I did that night so long ago

I hear his mind whispering to me

I am his treasure, he says

I watch as his hands caress

His eyes shining with love

His teeth as they gently sink into flesh

Yes, I whisper, drink, my love, drink

I belong to you,

Let me quiver like this, forever.
