Once i was looked up to
Someone respected and secured
Always fighting the hardest battles
Making sure comrades were cured
I never let them down in battle
I always helped them through
I made sure they fought their best
By holding something so true
But after one trip to nibelheim
My life began to change
I started feeling under pressure
Reading books that were arranged
I stayed up in that room all night
I never looked up once
Until the next day when the traitor came
When i told them what i was once
A few years later and i find myself
Travelling around the world
Maybe self discovery
Or even where my people prevailed
I found myself following jenova
Like a little lap dog
And all through my life i never realised
My puppet monologue
Somehow i felt let down
Somewhat lost and insecure
I didnt feel respect or security
Or safety thats for sure
But no matter how i acted
However selfish and inhumane
I once fell at the hands of Cloud Strife
But however the one winged angel
Will rise again
