so i go to the lifeline bookfest frequently, pick up older books for a bargain and have the joy of discovery.
i found this book last trip, called Suicide Blonde. its by Darcey Steinke. its a book of extraordinarily mixed reviews, but sometimes even a seemingly mediocre book can really appeal and envoke something in you.
i loved this book, it was endearing in its bleakness and its sadness. it was real.
i'd love for you to share with me some books that mean something to you. whether its a pure adoration for the writing or a more abstract feeling of attraction. i would love to hear it
