Dreams from to far away touch my mind

flitting though my hair

and catching my eye

Of things that I can not even dream of

to far to capture with my mind

things of past maybes long gone

old lovers whispers in my ear

Old thoughts and urges that have long ago left

Faces of men I wanted to be my lover

hopes that were shattered

all in all they have become today's nevers

haunting my waking dreams

till I sit here and think of him, them and the old me.

I shed a sigh and a tear for the path not taken.

and try to shed the whispers grips on my mind.

Sadly I fear tonight I am there's to call, though the deep dark memory lane.
