Asthma is one of those tricky monsters. I'm sorry to hear you're going through it. My youngest sibling suffered horrible asthma for years. He must have had a death wish or something because he smoked through it all. They did give him one helpful tip at the doc's office that seemed to consistently work, you may already know about it though, and that's drinking a little bit of coffee when you are having the beginnings of an attack. The caffeine apparently helps open the airways abit. Hope you can find it as useful as he did.
