wondering is she okay, not knowing and kept

in the dark, for so long,



if only she will let me in, so cold out here,



kept in the darkness, is my love okay? will

she find peace?



haunted by dreams, and bad memories, I can't

help but to wonder, can they help her,



can the medicines give her peace, yet she keeps

it all locked away, and me in the dark,



is it pride?, or does she not know I care for

her deeply,



she is distant, yet I try to close the gap,

telling her I will remain by her side,



she says don't worry, but I can't help it, I care,

and dispite how I try she won't let me in her

enclosed shell, her protective wall,



confused I simply pray, and ask if I may help,

yet the distance keeps growing wider,



and I can't seem to get closer to the one I care

for, instead I drift farther apart.
