When we first met you struck me as odd

With your hair short & spikey sporting a visor

I shrugged it off as one of those things

Rest Easy aquaintance

I'll say hi when i see you

Got sent away for a tour of duty

Coming back to all hell breaking loose

Met up with you again,you sympathized with what i was going through

You knew the name of my son and he seemed to like you

Rest Easy friend

I'll be there for you too

Time went on,we e-mailed each other seeing what each others about

Went on a few dates,to dinner & hang out

Decided that "us" sounded and felt juist right

Wanted to see what it would be like to have you in my life

Rest Easy girlfriend

I won't push you away

Months went by,learned more about you

Loved being around you & my son did too

He told me how much he liked to hang around you

Then one night you asked me if i'd marry you

Rest Easy fiance

You'll be my wife soon

I'll be there when i'm not physically

You'll feel me around

I will keep this family safe without a doubt

You have my life as you will have my child
