The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Spring is wonderful, my cold is retreating from whence it came, I know I will still be coughing for another week, but I feel pretty good. As they say, the fastest way to get rid of a cold is to give it to someone else... there were plenty of people at game last night that it could have jumped onto. hehe!



A friend of ours called us yesterday afternoon in panic about a situation. We were able to talk them into seeing some light and gradually chipping away at the big stone wall in front of them. They have started climbing out of the hole....



Another friend of ours was upset because her car needed inspection and the estimate she got was over $1000. We told her to see our mechanic... Trust me, Midas was trying to rip her a new one. Our mechanic got her all done passed and legal for under $250. Woot!



Warning: High levels of irony.

On the estimate Midas MISSED the muffler she needed replaced.

I'll be laughing about that one for a week!



Another friend of ours needs what can only be described as a life makeover. new job, car, new place to live, etc. We have ideas for him as well.



The Wea'tah unit is coming back. We are a-gonna be at practice on Sunday, with brand new sword covers and brand new tabbards. I'll be swinging my 5' great sword and working my little pookah butt off. :) Sweating out the last of this cold, like a champ in training!



Next, our business. This weekend, I have some work to do for work, some work to do on the house, and then I can get to my website and the website for our client.

Excelsior!

You will be happy to know that your little pookah is back to normal. I don't know whether it's the weather (50 Degrees Fareinheit BUDDIEZ!) or the fact that we went out last night to 80's night, we saw some people we know, or the fact that I managed to get FIVE timesheets filled out and sent in, or the fact that I realized out of this next pay we will be able to afford: DAH DAH DAH... THE Certified MASTER PLUMBER!



I'd like to thank all of you who sent me encouragement and support during the last month especially... Ya'll know it's been pretty rough, pretty cold, pretty dark, pretty dismal, etc. I thank you all for being there for us.

Part of me realizes its all just a ploy to get attention. After all, what else have you known? You do realize that the only way you could ever get anything you wanted out of life was to create an illusion - in a desperate hope to draw attention by making a bigger noise than anyone else around you.



How sad.



Part of me completely understands why. After all, part of me wanted to use this as an excuse, too. I remember so well after a year of being court ordered away from my family, how when the professional said those three simple words, Those three words that every woman longs to hear: Those three little words. "You poor thing." How my whole world opened up right in front of me the moment those three little words were uttered.



Everything I had ever wanted out of life was achieved - all at once...



Yet, I know the difference now, beteween the placid gratification and the real deal. I finally know what really matters, and I know how I can help others find the path.



So I say to you,



Adieu.
