The murderess smiled. "You don't remember me do you?" Daniel stared at her, trying to place her face. "No," he admitted. "Should I?" The murderess shot him a look of utmost loathing. "No," she spat, "you were only there for my first taste. You only took me in and showed me my powers. You were like a father to me, then you just disappeared." She broke off, hiding her face from view. Daniel walked up to her and took her face nito his hands. He studied her. A few seconds later he dropped his hands and stepped backwards. "Jade?" He said, still staring in disbelief.

"Yeah. Forgot about me didn't you? Left me to fend for myself. Abandoned me." She started to cry again, silent tears running down her cheeks. "I never meant to abandon you. I got scared that you were growing too dependent on me. I panicked. I'm sorry." Jades' face grew hard. She stared into his eyes. "It doesnt matter now. I only came to say goodbye." She walked up to him. He could feel the warmth of her body. "Goodbye Daniel," she whispered. Then she drove a silver knife into his gut. "Something to remember me by." She said icily. "And i know why you abandoned me. I felt it. You loved me and would rather i died without you than accept the fact that you feel such a mortal emotion. And my name isn't Jade." She said. "It's Carmon." Daniel stared at her. The wound from the knife would have scarred by the next day, but knowing that she was right, that he would have rather she died than accept and admit that he loved her, cut deeper than any knife ever could. Carmon walked out into the night, leaving Daniel once and for all. He wasn't dead like she had been told, but she had told him things that would haunt him forever. She took out her phone and called her coven. "It's done." She walked away, knowing that noone would ever look for him again.
