I know peoples taste buds change over the years and they end up not liking something they once did or find something they did not like before and now they do. So I challenge myself on those things...

Still do not like the slimy/gritty/ and not-so-sweet taste of watermelon!

Anyway, your statement is spot on. As a kid, I hated the combo of sweet and savory stuff, like sweet and sour pork, veggie/fruit mixes, etc. Now, I love them. And as I kid, I loved super sweet, gross stuff, like Tootsie Roll Pops, Kool Aid...barf. :)

I have one, but not a big user of my cell phone. I use it for the most part to look stuff up if I am out and about. If people text me and my readers are not nearby, I can half ass read and reply. I may go a day or three before I check my phone and people get pissed of my non-response. So, I challenged myself and turned it off for the first 2 weeks of this month. I rarely get text messages but I logged on this eve so I could download an app for gps when I bike ride and lo and behold I had a couple of messages! Wow!

I'm not a big phone user either, so no smart phones for me. The regular cheap Samsung I got is annoying as it is. I don't answer it about 50% of the time, even when it's within reach.

I could care less...and my nephew at Apple Corporate wanted to give me the latest iPhone. No thanks, kid.

It would be just one more thing that I'd need to learn...lol
