So... I have the 2nd interview on Friday and found that they were only willing to pay $10 an hour. Which would be a good thing but, I would have to pay out about $600 in medical/dental insurance with only a pay back of $173.

I called them today to tell them that I would not be able to take the job after calculating the information.

I guess I will keep looking. Thanks to all for the good wishes.

2nd Interview

I got a call back for a 2nd interview for tomorrow.

The only thing about this job is paying for my own health and dental insurance which will cost about $500 a month (for me and my kids).

I will find out more about the pay tomorrow. Does anyone out there know how to calculate or know the formula to figure out the difference in pay I would need to get/request.

I am so thankful for my daycare lady. She has been really good for my kids since they have been going to her.

She takes them to the park, pool, spray park, library and to the lake that is near by.

To all of those out there that take care of kids for a living, I thank you for all that you do.

I had a job interview today with a Aflac office where I live. I hope I get the job so I am making more than $8.65 an hour.

I could use any good luck spells if you got em.

My knee is getting better but the doctor brought up my weight again and since I am so young as he calls it he wouldn't be able to anything if my knee got worse. So now I have to seriously work on that.

Olivia had her stitches out today and the doctor said the cuts look really good and told her not to get her fingers caught in the door again. The little faker pretended that it hurt to get them out and then laughed after each one was taken out... the little nymph.

Ugh, im with ya there, my doctor caled me fat today. It gets them all when you yell at them "here, let me poke you in the eye with a HOT fry, and THEN ill show you fat!"

I know this will probley get me into trouble since I found this site through my ex-husband and he is still on here and a lot of you that are friends with me are friends with him and if you looked hard enough you would figure out who it is.

I have just read his latest journal entry on his personal life and I am happy that he is still able to get to school and has the chance to better his life. But the stuff with child support has totally pissed me off.

First off, I did not accept the higher amount that I should have received for the 2 kids that we have because I wanted him to be able to live and still possibly get a chance to come and see his kids. Therefore putting myself in trouble on the money front. Not to mention that child support services for our state was not involved until I had not received any monies for at least 4 months.

Second, I have and always will support him in anyway that I can with the last thing being sending him $300 for help in getting a car and paying for the last visit that he made in October 2008 to see his kids. The last time he saw the kids before that I was when I was changing jobs in 2006 and had made the decision to go back to the area that we used to live in to visit him and with co-workers that I had.

Third, I have repeatedly told him to go to the housing authority for housing assistance and to the food support area. I know that he was making great money before he lost his job but with 3 people living in his apartment he should be able to get some assistance.

Again, I know that I am going to get some crap from a couple of friends here on VR and more or less likely from him himself but I wanted to make things clear that I have helped in some way and how I can.

This person knows that I still love him and will always love him and I know the same works in reverse and that it is always good to get things off of ones chest so I hope this does not hurt him too bad and I understand that those of you who are just recent friends of mine here want to remove me as such since I am sure you were friends with him first.

Don't feel bad for wanting him to support his children... Money is difficult for most people right now, but even so there are programs and if people that know they should go for it don't because they are too proud... Then maybe they should relook at their priorities... Just my 2 cents on it...

And this is coming from someone that does know what it's like to live paycheck to paycheck when someone has never paid a dime of child support (granted my situation is quite different)...

Camping

Took the kids camping this past weekend with my sister and her two boys. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work.

We had the best weather anyone could ask for and the fireworks were really good. I will try to post them in my portfolio as soon as I can.

We did all of the cooking by camp fire and it was easier that one would think, there was no TV or video games and the kids were in the fresh air the whole weekend.

I think every child/kid & family should have the experience of camping in a tent before the campers with all of the amenities that they have so that they actually know what camping is all about.

My kids have already asked me when we get to go again and I can't wait to take them.
