I have started to realize over the last couple of months that sometimes you have to back up in order to make things work especially if in love. I have learned this due to the one I love and I having been together on and off for 13 years as of this March. We have had our fair share of problems as couple and right now, we are taking things slow and finally doing what it takes to work through our problems so that way we can be an happy, loving couple that doesnt fight that much or breakup. We are talking out problems, talking more, hanging out, and finally being open with each other but it took us this long to realize that we needed to back up and see things differently but it is helping. So, sometimes you need to back up and take things slower in order to help an relationship/friendship or whatever. Love is a part of it all.

this past weekend, there was a death in my family. My stepfather of 29 years died Friday and I found out Saturday morning. My mother who lives in Colorado is barely keeping it together though she is trying and soon I shall be up there to help her out. He and I were not very close but he is one of the few people I knew stood by me and cared even when I was bad. he was an great man and shall be missed by his family, my mother and myself. The funeral will take place whenever and he shall rest next to his son and may the Gods and Goddesses watch over him and keep him safe in his journey in the after life.

does love have to be such a pain in the butt especially when you have loved someone for so long? To tell someone you love them yet treat them at times as if they do not matter confuses me. I am in love with one person and want them yet at times I wonder if they feel what they say they do for me.

I have been in that situation before and it sucks. I don't really have any advice for you on that topic cuz the guy I was with that put me in that situation didn't actually love me so I left him plus he was just an asshole any ways.
