Lost Little Soul

He was...

Everything...

To her.....

The very sound of him....

Made her heart beat...

The very breath of him...

Brought her back to life...

And... she gave him...

Everything.

He was .. in a moment...

One solitary moment..

Gone from her flesh forever.

She was... different..

He used to tell her.

She was ... worthy of his..

Trust.. his secrets...

She held them so close to her

Heart.

As if . being honest about

the others was honorary.

She used to think .. she was

Different...

That her blood .. tasted better...

That her.. soul was .. more...

Desirable...

She was sweeter ....

She was different....

She was the little lost lamb...

That cowered at his feet...

Begged for absolution from

His devil...

His hunger....

His need...

She wore her crown so well.

That moment... in everyone's memory...

When you give the only thing..

Held precious to you...

The only thing worth having...

In this world of mistaken heros...

It was in that moment....

She became...

Different...

She walked away....

With... only the taste of

Her own blood at her lips...

For there was nothing left to give....
