Where’s the thunder of the land?
In the dreams of the land.
Legends of the Prairie land.
Distant thunder from the land.
Herds
Of the Prairie land.
Reaching over the Prairie land.
So where’s the thunder of the land?
Elegant beauties.
So strong and proud.
Wild Horses where have they gone?
The thunders dead from the land.

I have seen the king of the prairie.
He was black as black can be.
Silver hooves upon his feet.
A brilliant horn upon his brow.
Muscles rippling as he moved across the land.
I have seen the king of the prairie.
Leading a merry band.
A band of brilliant colors.
So strong and proud.
Then they were gone like the floating mist.
I know that you don’t believe in what I say.
But I have seen the king of the prairie and his merry band.

The world of make believe so wonderful and big.
All ways there when you’re in need.
A world that you can make your own
You can have Griffins preached on stones
And unicorn dancing in meadows green
The world of make believe so wonderful and big
Such a beautiful place to go
With knights on silver horses
And magicians casting spells
The world of make believe so wonderful and big
Such a beautiful place to go
With dragons flying thought the air
And gargoyles sitting on cliffs.
The world of make believe so wonderful for you and me.

A chorus of wolves.
Notes raising and falling.
A ghostly tune.
A sweet tune.
Always clear and true.
So deep and mysterious.
The pups young.
The adults old.
All singing in harmony.
In the woods so dark and deep.
A chorus of wolves.
So lovely indeed.

A hunter in the dark
Eyes glowing green
Moving silently and unseen
Stepping softly upon the green
Never ever being seen
Blending with the bark of trees
Running through the woods with glee
Hidden where no one can see
His plaintive howl echoes though the trees
A hunter in the dark
So mysterious to me.
-November 26, 2003-
Horses running wild and free.
Over the plains and through the trees.
Where are you going my merry band?
What do you see?
While walking along.
Where do you go?
Only you would know.
Horses running wild and free.
Over the plains and through the trees.
Where are you going my merry band?
Tell me please if you can!

Do you know how it feels
To be alone and scared?
You don’t know where to go,
You don’t know what to do,
When darkness grabs at your heart.
Do you know how it feels
To be alone and scared?
Afraid of what’s around you,
Afraid of the monsters,
Afraid to ask for help.
Do you now how it feels
To be alone and scared?
Afraid of being held,
Afraid of loving someone you care for,
Afraid of being hurt,
Afraid of hurting them,
Afraid of the monsters.
Do you know how it feels
To be alone and scared?
Afraid of being used,
Afraid of your feelings,
You bottled up,
Afraid of the monsters,
Do you know how it feels
To be alone and scared?
Afraid the bottles will burst,
Afraid your feelings overflowing,
Afraid of the monsters.
Do you know how it feels
To be alone and scared?
When your fears comes true,
Your feelings exploded,
The bottles burst,
And the monster is let out.
