The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Today I feel great, I'm a little worried that I'm just experiencing Hypomania but I guess there's no point in worrying too much. I had a lovely weekend & still have 2 days off before I have to go back to work.



I'm gradually letting my fellow coven members in & developing a better insight into who they are & what they're all about & so far I like what I see. A few days ago I had an 'encounter' with an arrogent 17 year old child who was too big for his boots, I could tell he was just trying to rile me & I felt that burning anger begin to rise but I feel I managed to keep in control of the situation & i'm proud of myself for that. Trust me, when my nasty side reveals itself it's not a pretty sight.



One of my friends returned from her holidays yesterday & immediately signed up & is enjoying the addiction of VR - lol - I knew she would. If you come across her, please play nice. She's more fragile than she makes out to be & I love her very much.

Yippee, last night I was accepted into the Coven of The Ancients & now I feel a bit happier about things here. I kind of feel a sense of belonging & pride which I didn't think I was going to get from this website. I have been trying my hardest to gain favour for my Coven & have managed to proceed to the next level today. I'm a bit hesitant about getting to know my other coven members mainly because of my own trust issues, but the ones I have spoken to so far seem realy lovely & I feel an instant bond with my Coven master as it seems we have a lot in common. I just hope I can make him proud to have me in his Coven.



On a different note I have just had some terrible news. My dad phoned a few hours ago to tell me that my step mum has been diagnosed with lymphoma & has to start chemotherapy fairly soon. It was a bit of a shock to say the least & I am devastated for the both of them. I know she'll probably be ok in the end but she's in for a tough ride.

Hmmmm well here goes, my first journal entry! I have to say i'm still a bit undecided about this whole VR site, i've been here about a week now & feel as if i'm just blundering along blindly! I can't decide if I should become a premium member or stay as a freebie! I'm finding advancing my status really hard (i'm aware it's not meant to be easy so as to keep out the timewasters) but it seems the easiest way to advance is to rate things you don't really care about without reading any of the content (which I have to say a lot of the content looks really interesting) because it would take far to long to advance if you read everything you came across.



I wouldn't mind staying as a whelp but then I miss out on the fun of posting in the forums & also I find now I can post, the more 'senior' members totally ignore anything I have to say. I'm not sure if that's because i'm a 'newbie' or because my posts are genuinely not that interesting?



I'm not meaning to offend or upset anyone but the idea of a journal is to write down your thoughts & I just needed to get this off my chest.



On a happier note, i've had some nice comments about my profile & some lovely messages so thanks for those!
