The disturbing things about this are (1) That it's happening and not making world news, (2) The film maker's public persona of having, according to Wikipedia, "supported of the white identitarian group Defend Europe opposing the action of non-governmental organizations involved in search-and-rescue operations in the Mediterranean Sea. She was detained by the Italian Coast Guard for blocking a ship embarking on a search-and-rescue mission. In March 2018, Lauren Southern was also detained while trying to enter the United Kingdom and officially banned from entering the country. A spokesperson for the British Home Office said that "her presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good", and (3) It brings to reality the real possibility of what could happen when one ethnic group is oppressed, beaten, murdered, denied human rights, justice, political and economic power, and is just treated as sub-human for generations by another ethnic group.............and then...........the tables are turned.

Christopher Richardson calls it fear of "retribution and self-awareness of bigotry". He goes on to say, "Fear because racist whites always feared that one day blacks would rise up and kill them for having enslaved, raped, beaten them. And they felt that now with the blacks freed one day they would become a political, economic, powerful block of people that would now try to make laws to get revenge for slavery".
https://www.quora.com/Where-does-the-irrational-hate-of-black-people-come-from

The bottom line is no one ethnic group has a monopoly on Fear, Anger, Hate and Suffering. So when the world witness it going on, regardless of the country, I feel many ask why is it happening and should they get involved?

Some may even see it as Karma playing out for past wrongs.

According to Wikipedia, "South Africa introduced apartheid (a system of institutionalized racial segregation and discrimination that existed in South Africa from 1948 until the early 1990s. Apartheid was characterized by an authoritarian political culture based on baasskap (or white supremacy), which encouraged state repression of Black African, Coloured, and Asian South Africans for the benefit of the nation's minority white population. The economic legacy and social effects of apartheid have continued to the present day) in 1948, as a systematic extension of pre-existing racial discrimination in the country. Initially, the regime implemented an offensive foreign policy trying to consolidate South African hegemony (leadership or dominance) over Southern Africa. These attempts had clearly failed by the late 1970s. As a result of its racism and foreign interventionism the country became increasingly isolated internationally until apartheid was ended and racial equality introduced in the early 1990s.

Therefore, to have an Alt-Right Individual (The alt-right, or alternative right, is a loosely-connected and somewhat ill-defined grouping of white supremacists/white nationalists, neo-Nazis, neo-fascists, neo-Confederates and other far-right fringe hate groups) report on what is happening to the descendants of those that implemented Apartheid is like Trump complaining to the world of bad media coverage after continuing to attack them for reporting Facts.

I'm still curious to see how the World responds to this.

Dude, it's super simple. Cream or milk, 7 to 14 grams shake stems or bud, bain marie (pot and metal bowl on top) on low heat for 30-60 minutes. YOU CAN NOT LET IT BOIL. Low heat only or you ruin the cream/milk and bud. NO BOILING. It's like steeping bud in milk :}

Who doesn't see the pattern of Republicans causing Social Problems, The Democrats trying to solve it with Social Programs and then the Social Programs becoming ineffective and the Republicans turn around and blame The Democrats and get Conservatives thinking it's Liberal Social Policies that are causing all the problems....

WTF?!

The Problem:

A Shortage of Affordable Housing.....However, don't look over there....Look over here....The Mentally Ill homeless on the streets.

Solution? Social Program:

The idea for the Homeless Housing Program originated in January 2016.
State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) proposed a $2-billion bond to finance new and rehabilitated housing for mentally ill people living on the streets.

Money to repay the loan would come from revenue generated by Proposition 63, a 1% income tax surcharge on millionaires passed in 2004 that funds mental health services.

De León and other supporters argued building housing for chronically homeless people with mental illness met the intent of the 2004 initiative.

Gov. Jerry Brown signed a pair of bills authorizing the bond in summer 2016.

So What Happened?:

Nearly two years after California lawmakers approved a $2-billion bond to help finance new housing for the state's homeless, not a penny has been spent, and it's unclear when any of the money will be available.

The dollars are tied up in court as a Sacramento attorney challenges the state's plan to pay off that debt with money California voters approved in 2004 for mental health services. The funding, the attorney contends, should not be diverted from treatment programs, even if the mentally ill benefit from the housing.

State housing officials said they don't know how long the litigation will take to resolve.

Another Possible Solution? State-Run (Government Run) Program

"We need more state-run mental institutions.
The institutions would offer the homeless substance abuse and psychiatric services, so they can get back on their feet and re-enter the workforce." ~ Travis Allen, GOP candidate and Orange County Assemblyman

Why No State-Run Institutions Already?:

After Sacramento County’s crisis unit closed in 2009 because of "Budget Cuts", the number of patients treated and released for mental health issues increased fourfold. Hospitals don’t often have the space or the staff to help people in a mental health crisis, and the entire emergency room experience can be traumatic. This is not only ineffective, it is also the most costly way to provide mental health services.

Who was Governor in 2009? A Republican!

Dude, you seriously need to see what I just saw and talk to the people I talked to. 5 years ago, they had a home, now they don't. Other people came here from out of state. I could go on and on but I won't. People feel free to discuss this hell which is now spilling into my suburb a good 45 minutes away from Oakland. We have huge sections of new homes built in the last 8 years and they are all section 8. People pay 500K for those homes but they are section 8. Better, bigger newer homes than mine. Not really fair but fuck it, they have a roof over their heads right.

My career in the military taught me the following:

- First, Identify The Problem
- Secondly, Discover What Contributed To Creating The Problem In The First Place
- Thirdly, Come Up With A Solution
- Next, Implement That Solution
- Finally, Monitor The Progress And Make Adjustments To The Solution As Needed

I feel we get wrapped around the problem and then confused at all the blaming.

Then even though there are many Solutions to solve the Problem, the Fight to implement those Solutions is due to one Party doesn't want the other Party to get the Credit if their Solution works because it's a Threat To Their Party being in Power or being elected into Power.

I'm a Compassionate person who understands that Life Isn't Always Fair, but I also understand that Solving Problems can be a complicated shit show in a Democracy.

If there are Homeless People in a state and the only place to place them are into unoccupied Mansions and the Governing Body chooses to house them in those Mansions for little to nothing while those of us who are already in homes that may be modest rather than take more of my tax dollars to build New Homes or Shelters to house these people, well fuck it....Let'em.

Yeah, it seems Unfair and the feeling of Envy swell up in us to the point of being Toxic leading to FEAR (of never achieving what someone else seemed to have been just given), which leads to ANGER (over how unfair life can be), which leads to HATE (for anyone seemingly doing better than us), which leads to SUFFERING (both inner turmoil as we compare our lives to what we know or have heard of their lives AFTER receiving HELP and for those people who somehow seemed to have benefited BEYOND our own standard of living because we are going to look beyond their NEEDS and focus on their Race, Ethnicity, Gener, Religious Beliefs, Social Standing, Economical Situation, The Reason That Caused Their Situation In The First Place and do whatever we can to bring them down beneath us).

So an Illegal isn't caught and makes it across our Boarder. (Government's Fault).
They take on jobs for less money than we would accept. (Businesses Fault).
They collect Financial and Educational Benefits. (Government's Fault).

However, we forget, when it comes to Human Survival, we would do the same damn thing if we had a choice of starving or our kids starving or getting murdered or any other negative thing that may happen to us or our family, but by sneaking into another country we could possibly prevent it.

So I don't blame Illegals.
I don't blame the Poor.
I don't blame the Mentally Ill.

I blame a Government that I'm giving my money to, to Solve these issues for me and they're doing a Poor Job while at the same time attempting to cover up their INEFFECTIVENESS by convincing me to BLAME everyone else BUT THEM!

Fuck All The Nonsense.

It's good argument Mogy, but you forgot the law of supply and demand. Prices are sky high because there are people willing to pay those prices for those houses. I agree both parties are to blame but the democrats even more. Unchecked immigration and social programs that subsidize those people and citizens that don't work have bankrupted the state. The turning point was in 1992 when Prop 187 passed and was shot down by a liberal judge. California has become a shithole with overly intrusive government, taxes and cost of living that are way too high. It breaks my heart because growing up in the 80's and early 90's before I left to the military, it was the best place to live. I haven't been able to say that for years now.

LORDMOGY

xAngelofAgonyx, you make a good argument that it's "mostly" Democrats fault since the Democrats are in control of the California Government, but Immigration is not a State responsibility. It is a Federal Responsibility.

Therefore, if the Federal Government fails in its Responsibilities and an Illegal makes it across the border into California, it's still a Federal Responsibility to Find them and Deport them. Well, the last time I checked, the Republicans are in control of the Federal Government so why hasn't something been done other than this joke of building a wall.

Also, if there are fellow humans starving and the State (Little Brother) isn't willing to use State Funds (if any) to assist the Federal Government (Big Brother with the Deep Pockets) to do its job and the majority of those people find their way into our communities doing the jobs we refuse to and for less, being productive, contributing to our communities and the businesses hiring them aren't reporting them or being told not to by the State, then I believe the State will use State Funds to attempt to feed and house them before using the funds to beef up the funds and resources required to Locate them and Deport them...Especially when they were law-abiding except for crossing the border searching for a better life for themselves and their family of which some of them are living with their family who are probably U.S. Citizens.

I would propose that the Federal Government maybe spend less on National Defense and invest more Funds and Resources to protect our local borders. But really, if it was such a BIG CONCERN, you'd think someone would have already made that happen. I'm just saying.....LOL!
