i feel i need to vent so what better place to do it then here. ok now to let lose and in a way update this a bit. i married the love of my life in july (DareDevil72), we got our own place about a month and a half ago and a few weeks ago i found my son and daughters profile on facebook so i decided to add them as friends in hopes that they would want to talk to me (i haven't talked to them in like 4 years because of my ex hubby). Well my daughter is like Mom is that you i can't believe i found you.( shes 14) any way i told her yeah its me and we start talking about alot of things and shes telling me how miserable she is and all that kind of stuff. i listened to her go on about how much she hates her step mom and how her dad treats her step moms kids better then he treats his own and how hes mean and i'm not talking about just light punishments he threatened her with bodily harm just because she got tired of hearing him argue with his wife and she told them to shut up. then she told me something very devastating to me she told me that my gram whom i loved with all my heart and who raised me passed away 3 1/2 years ago and none of the rest of my family even bothered to let me know. on a positive note i told my daughter that she is of age to decide where she wants to live with her dad or me and she really wants to come live with me. so now i have to figure out how to go about all of this because her dad is a big ass. he fills my kids heads with so many lies its not even funny and he even says all kinds of bad stuff about me to them. and now my mother in law is in the hospital with heart problems and possible breast cancer. she found a lump almost a month ago and i told her not to fool around with it and go get it checked out but she wouldn't listen to me. so that's whats been going on in my chaotic life as of late.

I'll keep your Mother in law & your family in my thoughts and prayers. But a small warning from experience, Your daughter has told you a lot of things that you have no other way of verifying and as you know 14 year olds can and do exaggerate especially if she's had a fight with her dad or step-mom. Do what you need to do but keep this in your mind too.
