First Entry: Introduction

Hello all who have stumbled upon this. This is my first entry and I have no clue what I'm doing so I'll try to keep it brief.

As my profile states, I'm 26 and I'm from the lovely Misery USA- I do hope some get the joke. I'm named after a poem and I think people guessing which one would be entertaining.

I've traveled a lot prominently going to Renaissance faires and festivals and other similar events. I've currently been to 22 states but never traveled internationally. I used to frequent comic cons but that's not really my scene anymore and I no longer cosplay. I'm hoping to restart my Ren faire touring again this year, which is exciting.

I'm super terrible at social media and socializing in general and thus don't normally do either. So I'm shy maybe? More accurately socially inept.

I've been goth, alternative, emo, and/or some combination since I was a really young teen and was on VF social media back in the day. I miss that style of format and hope I've successfully found something reminiscent of it here. I'm super into body modifications such as piercings of which I have numerous. I also really love tattoos but haven't really started my tattoo journey yet; so tattoos pending.

My favorite bands are Sleep Token, Beyond the Black, Bad Omens, Lacona Coil, and similar. I've dabbled with instruments but wouldn't say I currently play any. I love painting, drawing, and other artistic endeavors.

Big fan of Edgar Allen Poe, Steven King, The Addams Family, Tim Burton, Elvira, Tokyo Ghoul, Angels of death, etc. I'm also largely pop culture illiterate.

And, I've exhausted what I consider the basics of myself so here we go first journal entry complete. Enjoy I suppose.
