My Dream World

My dream world..

I can invision a world so far from any place this world could hold, I see it each time I wish to leave the everyday stress..

A place where the sunset never dies, painting the sky like a light stroked fanned brush of pastel colors swirled over head, the forest I see in my heart is Mystical and never dies, the trees filled with the brightest leaves of a never ending emerald.. Azalia bushes line the path of the forest with Ivy tisting along the trunks of the thickest trees only to pull the branches itnto a tall arch over head.

Lillies expload with sunlight that never is shrouded in the ebony curtains of night.. I can almost hear the rushing waters of this magical world, so tall and strong, waters crashing over only to rest in the bottoms of a warm heated spring that hugs the banks, lily pads dance of the surface of the waters while hybiscus blooms swim and spin of a graceful dance.. a Song of nature sung by the exhale of a gentle breeze that even the leaves and plants bow and praise..

No there is heaven I believe, in the minds of all who can see this place I see..

I can smell the sweeet scent of Magnolia carried on the wings of the air around me as I close my eyes and listen to the song of nature.. Its symphony being of all the instruments not made by human hands only by nature that surrounds me, leaves clap like small symbals,as the rain that never drenches the nourished land becomes the thump of the drums.. this rain being unlike any ever known.. its warmth kisses the plnts but never floods the land, almost like a kiss between lovers..

Roses always at full bloom kissed with the evening dew never to fall and be trampled beneath a foot by man.. the mountains topped by the blankets of snow just at the peeks while the sun never falls completely asleep..

a thin fog dancing in the air as I move further into this hidden forest only seems to dance to the song that sings through the forever land..

springs of an emerald hue sweetly flow ovewr the clear banks feeding all of the creatures that dwell in such a divine world.. white tailed deer lower their heads and lap these waters only to recieve a renewal of youth to their elder bones.. I can see wolves call out to those who wait behind for their return bringing a nourishing treat to their young..

I ask you this.. can you see such a place? a place of true peace and tranquilaty?

If yopu can visualize a place as grand then yes I believe you found your own heaven in this wretched cruel world..

Does online relationships last?

15:38 Jan 08 2009
Times Read: 711

There is so many women out there being suckered into online relationships that never go anywhere other then cheap cyber and a heavy heart.

Here is something I found very Interesting while doing some study on the subject..

In 2003, online dating statistics showed that nearly 40 million Americans were using online dating services, with 20 million people logging on to at least on site every month. 48% of single men and 53% of single women were browsing profiles in search of "that special someone". The average amount spent by a consumer was 239 dollars per year. Online dating statistics show that in the first half of 2003 alone, a whopping 214 million dollars was spent by consumers on the services provided by an array of various companies. The business was booming, and online dating research estimated that by 2008, online dating companies would see a growth of 642 million dollars, and 900 million dollars by 2011.

Online dating statistics showed that 31% of Americans knew someone that had used an online dating service. With 40% of America's dating pool using these services, success rates were high. Surveys showed that 72% of women using these services found romance, while 52% of male online daters found their connection as well. The survey also showed that 33% of these people were able to convert the online dating experience into an actual date, with an average of 40% of those finding a serious, long term relationship or at least a close friendship. This lead to an estimated 120,000 marriages yearly that had stemmed from the use of online dating sites. Companies such as Eharmony claim to have an average of 90 users that wed each day.

In 2005, the industry saw a decline. Online dating statistics from February of that year showed that 33% less users were visiting these sites. The cost has changed as well, not to the benefit of the consumer, though. On average men were spending 100 to 150 dollars per month while women were spending 50 dollars per month, giving the companies a gross revenue of nearly 500 million dollars that year.

Over the next two years, the average cost dropped, giving single consumers a chance yet again to find love. Match.com claims that over 200,000 of their users were successful in the search for a soul mate last year. While online dating statistics have been shaky over the past few years, the success rate seems to remain quite stable. For those who are tired of the bar scene, or bumping shopping carts at the grocery store, online dating might be a new avenue to try. Its worth a shot, and what is there to lose? The online dating statistics give the industry a reputable name, and if things don't turn out quite like a fairy tale, its okay. One doesn't need to worry about the tears of a dramatic ending, for online dating statistics show that 48% of online relationships that turn sour are brought to an end via email!

we should be aware of who we are talking to, who we become close to. There is so many people out there simply using women or even men, I am not saying it is all men hurting females because that would be a lie, infact there is just as many women scamming men these days as well.

Personally I just don’t see why women are breaking up with men that are involved with them in real life to be with men they never even met or spoke to outside of text, honestly women, men.. think just a moment.. When your cybering each other who is doing all the work? You are.. its your hand pleasuring you not their fancy text.. lol, sorry I am very blunt..

I sometimes think that online dating is the same as trying to pick someone up at the bar.

Why do people apparently try that? Does it seem like you'll find the best of the best at a bar?

Very true. The internet gives people total anonymity which is what some people want so they can pursue their exploits. It's always to make sure the person you talk is who they say they are....

So true---it is a huge gamble. Judging from the article, one has a small chance at finding love and happiness...cyber-sex on the other hand...a waste of time and emotions.

you are so right

nothing can replace face to face contact

while you can get to know someone online

a real relationship requires realtime meetings

and involvement

Today someone who has been harrasing me claiming to be so inlove with me and never even met or spoke to me other then a few times made an idiot out of himself, he accidently sent me a link leading to a teen porn site he attends.. Listen guys, lets get an understanding..

Dont waste my time or your time, Im not here for anything but to have fun and learn more about Vampires, different cultures, and make a few friends.. I dont mind socializing and enjoy conversing with others.. but please be honest and striaght with me.. I hate those who hide behind a mask claiming something they arent..

To you who thought you had girls fooled is this why you keep changing your names? you need to grow up and realize you are not hurting anyone but yourself in the long run.. get a life..

I have had the pleasure of meeting many great people here since I have been here.. I respect those I call friend..
