To My Second Father, Tom
Whom I loved Just as much as my birth Father.......
When you reach that open road, I hope the clouds will be white and the sun bright.
The streets freshly paved, And not a pot hole in sight
And on this road let there be grassy plains, thick forest with tall evergreens, and Snow toped mountains.
For this is your road home, your freedom at last to soar like a great eagle in the sky
And when your half way home, you’ll see Sally’s bar and all your friends and family that have passed before you. To join you for that final ride home.
We will all miss you Dad....
