Hope the translation is ok... except for the rhymes perhaps

Don't be beaten, even beaten,

don't feel enslaved, even slave;

tremulous with fear think yourself brave

and blast fiercely badly wounded.

Have the tenacity of a moldy nail,

that old and ruinis a nail back again;

not the coward fearlessness of the turkey

that subsides its feathers on the first sound.

Proceed as God, who never cries;

or as lucifer, who never prays;

or like the oak, which greatness

needs the water and doesn't implore it.

That bites and thunders full of vengeance

your head rolling on the dust!

I like this poem... the author is called Almafuerte and it has helped me a lot in many different situations, hope uyou like it

No te des por vencido, ni aun vencido,

no te sientas esclavo, ni aún esclavo;

trémulo de pavor, piénsate bravo,

y arremete feroz, ya mal herido.

Ten el tesón del clavo enmohecido,

que ya viejo y ruin vuelve a ser clavo;

no la cobarde intrepidez del pavo

que amaina su coraje al primer ruido.

Procede como Dios que nunca llora,

o como Lucifer que nunca reza,

o como el robledal, cuya grandeza

necesita del agua y no la implora...

¡que muerda y vocifere vengadora

ya rodando en el polvo tu cabeza!
