As darkness closes in I awaken, feeling anew with life and energy.

In the darkness wicked things prowl and stalk the innocent.

As I walk through this darkness I fear noone and nothing.

I long for the hunt and the intoxicating thrill of the chase.

It's not the innocent i seek, but the wicked as they prey.

I watch and wait as another comes around the corner.

Not knowing I'm here with him he thinks he's invisible to all.

As he finds his intended victim I move forward silent and swift.

He is caught off gaurd by my fierce and ruthless attack.

With one down and hundreds to go still I quietly move on.

If you step into my shadow seeking to harm I'll destroy you.

Many go bump in the night feeling unseen and unnoticed.

I see you and notice you and am comeing to bump back.

In the darkness I come to bring light to the pure and innocent.

In the shadows I lurk to burn the wicked in my endless flame.

The darkness comes and a new hunt is about to begin.

There is a fire burning deep within my soul,

consuming and destroying all that is good in me.

It burns so hot and out of control,

scourching my mind burning so free.

Ashes are all that is left of who i use to be,

leaving me devistated, empty and hollow.

A beast in the mirror stands looking back at me,

with no real form he appears as a shadow.

Anger and rage are the only emotins i feel,

so now i've become so very bitter and cynical.

Life seems like a dream so fake and unreal,

I turn all of my pain into something phisycal.

I wonder lost on this road hating all i see,

wanting to destroy everything in my way.

Why won't this fire just die and let me be,

and let me see all the good things of the day?

For now I walk imprisoned and all alone,

desperately searching for the key to my goal.

Wanting something not made of wood or stone,

release from this fire burning up my soul.
