I lay me down in disrepair

to feel me slip into despair

grounded flight of angels' wings

a muffled voice of hatred sings

inside this wretched and twisted corpse

laden with silver and copper torques

inside the guts and organs churning

bringing vomit to the throat and burning

the flames inside deal damage slowly

burning like coal and roasting wholly

find me in the morning still

and let out a shriek so shrill

to see me in my final throws

and know what no man knows

the death mask of your fellow dust

a sin of love and forgiving lust
