Doing things over and over the same exact way and expecting different results is not the definition of insanity.
Here's a better definition...
insanity. noun. in·san·i·ty. 1. : unsoundness of mind or lack of the ability to understand that prevents one from having the mental capacity required by law to enter into a particular relationship, status, or transaction or that releases one from criminal or civil responsibility
It's not literally a definition but if someone does the wrong thing over and over expecting better results, one would think they're not sound of mind
Yeah, because people don't do that on the regular. Everyone is classified as insane if that's true.
Jeremiah 17:9-10 says:
The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked;
who can know it?"
