Hello again, Journal Readers. If there are any out there that is. :)
I decided to let everyone know how band's going, so here goes.
Let's start with the Middle School:
Marching season's over for us, so no more field commanding. :(
Had our last basketball game (2of2) a long time ago.
All districts coming up. Will describe momentarily.
About to go crazy with try-outs.
That's actually about it.
Now for the real stuff:
HIGH SCHOOL BAND DRAMA.
Yay! :)
Ashley and JD broke up. (You remember the cute couple I was talking about before?)
Pep band started up, and the music is STILL hard. But I'll get it eventually.
We lost at regional. .8 (Yes that says POINT EIGHT - LESS THAN ONE) of a point and we would have made it to finals. Agg. :( I blame me. For everything. I missed a lot of steps and visuals. Well not that much, but enough to count. :(
That pretty much sums up this summary. So agg. ! :)

Don't be so hard on yourself. Remember marching is a combination of everyone on the field. My motto is ONE BAND ONE SOUND. Take it from me I have been marching since the fifth grade and I have done it all through college. Every year its hard but in the end it all works out. You win some and lose some.

Well, Idk whom JD & his girl is, but, 'If it's to be, & they make the right choices, it'll happen'. That is, when dealing w/ ppl, things are ALWAYS tied into to intertwined concepts: The will of God, & the choices of mankind. In other words, ALL things happen to God's will. BUT, it's OUR choices, that says which doors open/close, w/ a few said doors 'eternally placed'. Aka 'Reguardless of the choice made, God has placed such a thing to happen.'
As far as the band thing goes: As was said above, 'All for one, one for all'. Granted. I've never done the band competions, but I've been in some JROTC drill-team comps, among other team-oriented things. Yall fall/rise as a team.. In most cases. Those cases 'one person' is the reason, tis cuz they either: 1. Didn't try. 2. Didn't properly prepare. Or 3. Purposely gave the win.
