They always need IT representation at the monthly board meetings just to press the buttons that no one wants to learn how to press.
Make sure the WebEx connects... make sure the cameras work... make sure the live stream happens. It all takes about 3 minutes just before the meeting starts (except for helping the executive staff connect their laptops to the wireless network because they can't do that on their own either)
No one wants to do it.
I'll gladly do it.
It's like a morning off.
No other expectations aside from making sure all the buttons get pressed. And that's easy.
Then I get another day working from the downtown office which is so much better than my normal office.
Now I get to fuckoff the rest of the day.
It's not a bad gig.
Finally able to cut the ties with Comcast/Spectrum.
Feels so good.
Had to fish a new ethernet line into the living room in order to make my network work with the new provider's equipment. Fortunately, I'm a professional at that shit, so it only took about an hour excluding distractions of "working from home."

Ohhhh how I wish we could get something better here than Spectrum!
They've had a monopoly on my area for decades. Having one other broadband option should show them people aren't going to stay with them.
This company is internet only, which is fine. I don't really watch TV except for streaming anyway, so I'm sure they'll retain a lot of customers who are afraid to part with their cable TV packages. They don't realize a good HD antenna and a Prime subscription (which they probably already have) will give them 90% of what they're already watching.
A work from home day and I'm getting a new internet service installed.
Good day!
Crushed it.
Not because I'm a model but because I've been posing people so long that she didn't even have to give me instructions.
Her: "How about you..."
Me: ~just poses~
Her: "OMG, yes, that's perfect."

YAY! A painless and easy experience from the sounds of it! :)
I'm probably still awkward as hell in the photos though....
I have to "model" for photos for one of my clients this week.
Such an odd feeling.
I have the face made for being behind the camera not being in front of it.
