It's kind of like feeling like the ship is sinking, so you have no choice but to jump over-board holding on to a flimsy little life preserver.
And even though the life preserver isn't a long term solution, as boat after boat comes by to offer you refuge, you turn them away because the life preserver once felt safer, and now you're afraid of boats.
Isn't it like that?
Friday night, still pretty much stuck in the house, so I've had a few shots of tequila.
Given this week's circumstances, I'm surprised I haven't been drunk more. But then again, I learn from the lessons of the past....
