Portfolios
Uploading Pictures
To upload pictures to your portfolio click Edit Portfolio in the User Menu.
Read the Portfolio Rules. Failure to follow the portfolio posting rules will result in portfolio deletion and in some cases, membership suspension or deletion.
The third section down in the center column (Edit Portfolio) is where you manage your portfolio pictures. You can add new pictures or delete existing ones from here.
Any picture that you attempt to upload must have a file size of 1 mb or less. If the file width or height are more than 500 pixels, the file will automatically be resized for you.
You may upload jpg or gif files. Gifs may be animated.
Whenever an upload fails you are presented with an error message explaining why the upload failed.
If your browser is set to use a cache file, when you upload a picture that replaces an older one, you might not see it. The picture is on the Vampire Rave server. The problem is with your browser, it's showing you an old image. You can solve this problem by clicking reload from within your browser or by dumping your browser cache file (it will depend upon your browser and version).
You cannot rearrange the order of your pictures. If you want to rearrange their order you must delete them all and then re-upload them in the order you wish them to appear. |
